Q: Where are you located? Do you travel?

A: I’m located in the Middle Tennessee area (we really do believe in Nashville!!) but I travel frequently to the rest of Tennessee and North Georgia. I have also shot weddings in Colorado, Texas, and Florida, have upcoming weddings lined up for Georgia, Texas, and Arkansas, and engagement sessions in Idaho — so yes, I do travel! Take me with you and we will have an incredible time.

Q: Are you licensed and insured?

A: You bet! If your venue needs to see my license (they may also call it my registration) or insurance, just let me know and I’d be happy to send it their way!

Q: When will I receive my photos?

A: I wish I could tell you that you would receive your photos within minutes of taking them (polaroids, I see you) but that’s not the case. I will return your wedding photos within three weeks of your big day and engagement sessions within two weeks. What am I doing with all of this time? I’ll be diligently editing and perfecting your photos, because although two weeks is a long time, it’s nothing compared to seeing these photos hung up on your wall forever! Your final photos will be worth the wait, I promise 🤩 (PS. You’ll receive extensive sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding day!!)

Q: What does the booking process look like?

A: First, you’ll head over to my contact page and inquire. I’ll send you an email back with LOTS of details within 24 hours, and then we will set up a FaceTime call to chat and meet each other! If you want to continue with booking, I’ll send over a contract and invoice with an in-depth follow-up email. When you sign the contract to seal your day, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due and you’re good to go!

Q: How many photos will I receive?

A: For an 8 hour wedding, I will deliver at least 800 professionally edited photos. However, I’m going to be real with you — I usually deliver upwards of 1000 photos. Yes, I remove the bad eggs from your photos but if you have LOTS of good ones, I’m not going to dismiss them just because you have enough amazing ones! You’ll receive a lot of photos, guaranteed (for a recent 8 hour wedding, I delivered 1500 photos). For an engagement session, you’ll receive 150+ photos.

Q: What if I’m awkward and I don’t know how to pose?

A: Honestly, you’ve come to the right person. I struggled for YEARS with my body image (let’s be real, it’s a continual battle) and taking photos used to terrify me because I would just be so confused in front of the camera (what do you do with your hands? does my hair look okay?). But guess what? I’m HERE to make you feel celebrated, loved, supported, beautiful, and adored. That’s my goal — to make you have so much fun with your significant other that by the end of the shoot you won’t even remember you were taking photos because it was just that dang fun! Q: How has COVID affected you and your business?

A: COVID-19 has been a crazy curveball in the wedding industry — however, people are still getting married and so photography must go on. To that extent, I have tried to discern the safest way for me to love and serve my clients (YOU) well. At weddings and any portrait session, I wear a mask at all times. I also have allowed weddings that are being rescheduled due to COVID to occur at no extra fee, although the retainer is still non-refundable. However, in these moments the retainer is also transferable (basically like store credit)
